“Give me the gentle hum and soothing hiss of the Miele…”

While Thursday saw us entertain Helene, Kate and Rachel at London Fashion Weekend as guests of Miele, Crofty of the self-titled Crofty’s Blog has been busy trialing the Miele S5211 and has recently published his thoughts on his time with the vacuum.

They say first impressions count and as a Dyson owner Crofty took an immediate shine to its looks “…you might consider leaving it out in the lounge for people to see, rather than hide it away like an ugly child…” and its lack of noise “…it emits a gentle hiss rather than an angry roar as it goes about it’s business…”. He even likens the S5211 to another benchmark of Germanic quality: Mercedes.

While he admits he’s found some downsides, he concludes thus: “Give me the gentle hum and soothing hiss of the Miele over the Pepperami roar of the Dyson any day.”
