Simply Splendiferous at the Miele London Gallery launch

The Miele London Gallery Launch was a great success and one of our guests, Ailbhe of Simply Splendiferous has given her thoughts on the brands new experience centre.

Having a love of good design, and knowing that Professional Masterchef champ 2009 Steve Groves would be demonstrating his culinary talents, was more than enough to tempt Ailbhe to Cavendish Place to see what the Miele Gallery was all about.

“The Gallery glowed red and white into the dark London evening, all seasonal and inviting. Oh and what an Aladdin’s cave of sleek looking units the Gallery turned out to be when we entered. I’m just a sucker for softly closing drawers and doors (be honest, I know we all are), sleek buttons and easy programming, above all loads of stainless steel and wood just ‘does it’ for me.”

Needless to say Steve’s cooking more than lived up to the surroundings and is described by Ailbhe in her post. One of the dishes she features is a steamed halibut fillet that sounds amazing. All in all it was grand evening,

“How nice it was to combine two passions in one go. Good design and good cooking! Happy little bunny I skipped off into the night.”
