Over at the UK Whitegoods forum Osamede has asked for help deciding between the two Miele washing machines he’s got his eye on.

He’s unsure whether to go for the 1714/1734 model or a 4000 series and lists the key features which are important to him including durability and lifespan.

Other users have commented that given Miele’s reputation for both of these whichever machine he chooses it should be good for twenty years.
