zz9 recommends a Miele washing machine

Digital Spy member zz9 has offered the recommendation of a Miele washing machine on a thread begun by Tom_Tit.

Tom_Tit’s current machine stopped spinning and after some investigation he decided that the cost of repair wasn’t worth it. As the the thread continued with options for replacements zz9 suggested Miele,

“Miele are the best. Mine is 13 years old now and has never had a problem. My brother has an even older one that’s still going strong. He had a blocked sensor once that he unblocked himself and that was six years ago.

Most Miele’s come with a full five year or even ten year guarantee but they build them to last twenty years”

There is also debate on the argument of buying cheap and replacing regularly or purchasing a more expensive brand and getting a warranty. Flyin Brick is firmly on the side of buying quality and when Bob22a suggests otherwise he puts forward his reasons and experience qualifying his opinion,

“The cheaper machines tend to last roughly 18 months to two years, the [more expensive] machines tend to last between 5 and 10 years. I’ve no idea where you get the idea that the reliability is worse, in fact it’s a ridiculous statement.

I base my opinions on 25 years plus of repairing, selling and scrapping domestic appliances. Most of the other engineers I know have the same opinions.”

Lyrrad searching for ‘hot UK’ Miele deals – he thinks he’s found them

Lyrradhas been doing some research on where to find the best deals on the Miele G1152SC dishwasher in Polaris White, and has come up with enough information for davilown to brand his work as an “excellent post -hot!” on hotukdeals.com.

Guilbert53 chimes in “Whenever Which magazine do a review of ‘white goods’ (washing machines, dishwashers etc) then Miele always come out on top”. Krjgreen added that he “was so impressed with the washing machine from them [that he] will always buy Miele from now on” leaving Broxy to wrap it up. “Heat and rep, great price for a quality appliance.”
