Miele vacuums for under £100 on Overclockers?
There has been plenty of discussion around vacuum cleaners on Overclockers forum over the last few days, and Miele has picked up a number of recommendations to DantheMan’s request for a bagless vacuum under £100. Sherpa suggests “A bit above your budget is the Miele S4211, again bagged but a great machine and Miele quality” – while Angilion warns Dan of his request for bagless models in general, suggesting “You have fuss with filters instead”.
BigT meanwhile is strident in his support for Miele as a brand saying “Miele S380 can be had for £100. I don’t know that much about that specific model but the Miele I have is infinitely better as a vacuum cleaner than any of the [other brands]”. Arknor meanwhile suggests “getting a Miele cat and dog [vacuum] like [his] parents have”. Go and have your say over here, or let us know what you think below.
Hot vacuum cleaner review of the Miele S380
“Although this vacuum cleaner is the bottom of the Miele range it is still excellent” say Hot Vacuum Cleaners of the Miele S380 Vacuum Cleaner in their forthright review, all mixed with technical and product spec.
To ‘read all about it’ pop over to their full review here, to find out more about the “larger size model” who’s main factor “of course is a quality of vacuuming and the suction on the minimum setting of 300 W”.
Brief encounters – Miele S380 vacuum cleaner review
Ukconsumer75 is something of an expert in the review of vacuum cleaners having previously written five of them over at the Review Centre and this latest one is no different in its thoroughness and attention to detail.
Having previously been a Sebo owner, ukconsumer75 bought the Miele S380 as a replacement for his old K1 and having already purchased an S4210 for his Mum knew what to expect in terms of Miele’s reputation. While he concedes the S380 is slightly more unwieldy to pull around than the S4000 due to its extra weight, unlike its bigger brother it “has a tool tidy storer where the door rises beautifully on well precisioned hinges to show three cleaning tools that fit sugly into their own carry space”. He’s also impressed by the extra length of the S380′s power cord having been frustrated by shorter leads on lesser models in the past.
Although the S380 is due to be replaced by the new S2 line early next year, ukconsumer75 still considers it “an all in one complete vacuum cleaner”. Why not jump over to the Review Centre to read his write-up in full.
Miele S380 review – More than just a basic vacuum
Friend of ForeverBetter Nar has run his expert eye over the S380 vacuum and written an in depth review of it over at Dooyoo.
He’s looked at all aspects of what makes a great machine including manoeuvrability, cleaning power, range of tools, ease of storage, design and price and concluded that as an entry-level Miele it makes a great investment.
