Sarahjk21 is reminded of Miele

Unfortunately Sarahjk21’s current vacuum is faltering and heading toward the end of its time sucking up the debris created by her two cats and three children. The problem is that she is unsure what to replace it with, and therefore has deferred the decision to the Money Saving Expert community.

The first response is from Alisont,

“I’m sure you will get lots of replies here, I’ve got the Miele cat and dog vacuum but think it’s about 7 or 8kg? […] I got it from John Lewis; got an extended guarantee and Miele send me 5 bags a year and filters which is good. When we had a dog it got up all the fur and is good at getting up the rabbit fur when he’s inside!”

Sarahjk21 responds stating that she’d actually had a Miele previously and forgotten how good they are. So will she go back to the brand? There is no news yet on the thread, but to read the other recommendations and keep an eye on the outcome click through.

Miele S5281 Vacuum cleaner is 5/5 again… And again

“If in doubt, Argos it” so the phrase went – and as far as Miele reviews go, one can see that the Argos may just be the place to be, with 2 new reviews for the Miele S5281 Clean Care Bagged Cylinder Cleaner.

Jim from Essex entitles his 5 star review ‘simply the best vacuums available’, and says “They are stylish, neat, innovative, practical, and last for years, and years, and years. All you could ever want in a vacuum cleaner.” Arma from London agrees, saying “excellent quality, nice compact easy to stow away, great vacuuming power. I am very happy with my purchase.”

These latest 2 ratings add to the other 7 reviews overall, leaving the S5281 with a rather enviable 4.8 stars out of 5…

Hair all over the house? Should one try the Miele Cat & Dog vacuum?

Oh the problems of those lovable household pets! If it’s not huge vet bills or barking throughout the night, it’s hair. And KatyKatastrophe from the cosmopolitan forum has “recently moved in with my boyfriend and his German shepherd and needs a weapon to combat all the dog hair!”  

Miss_m has been getting on well with her Dyson, but has heard “the Miele is meant to be excellent too though and I know quite a lot of people who swear by it.” RedRuby turned to Which? who regularly recommend Miele, “buying a hoover after reading their recommendations” which has “turned out to be a really good one”.

Oh and in other news, Kit Lee has just received her invite from Miele/Forever Better for Sparks Fashion Show event this coming Thurs…. “Dress to impress hmmm”. We look forward to seeing what you go for Kit!

Miele Cat & Dog vacuum given 5 stars at Argos

Always nice to see some positive reviews for Miele products, and The Cat & Dog vacuum cleaner has been getting some particularly favourable 5 star reviews on the Argos site in the last few days. Mobo from Cornwall rates it ‘excellent’, stating “Totally love it. It is far better than any of my past vacuums”.

Elaine meanwhile suggests “It is easy to maneuver, has great suction and a variety of suction buttons depending upon the thickness and how soiled the carpet/floor is.” She even elucidates on her thoughts of bagged vacuums, saying that it’s “easy to change bags with no mess as the bag seals before you dispose of it. Highly recommended”.

Miele S4212 vacuum cleaner is the way forward!
